Freeze away your fat
CoolSculpting® is a revolutionary fat freezing procedure that uses controlled cooling to eliminate stubborn fat that resists efforts through diet and exercise.
How it works
The science behind the CoolSculpting procedure is based on Cryolipolysis, or the idea that cold temperatures can target fat cells without damaging the skin or surrounding tissue.
Treated cells are frozen and then die. Over time, your body naturally processes the fat and eliminates these dead cells. The results are long term because treated fat cells are gone for good.
Results start to show approximately one month after the procedure and will continue to improve for the next four to five months. Patients are seeing undeniable and lasting results - some in just one fat freezing treatment. It's FDA-cleared, safe and proven effective. No needle, no special diet, no supplements, and no surgery or downtime!
Who is a candidate?
CoolSculpting works best for people that are near their idea body weight but still have unwelcome pockets of fat.
CoolSculpting has been FDA-cleared for treatment in the following areas:
- Love handles
- Abdomen and "muffin top"
- Back fat or "bra roll"
- Inner thighs and upper arms
- Double chin
How soon will I see a change?
Expect to see full results in about four months. After freezing, the body needs time to breakdown the fat and remove it from the body.
How long are treatments?
We will create an individualized plan tailored to your specific goals. The length of your treatment varies depending on the number of areas being treated. Typically, the treatment lasts 35 – 60 minutes.
Can I return to normal activities after my treatment?
Yes. The procedure is completely non-surgical, so typically you can return to normal activities immediately. Patients often return to work the same day the treatment is completed.
Is fat freezing painful?
The CoolSculpting process is not painful, but the first few minutes may be uncomfortable. Within five minutes, most patients are comfortable enough to talk on the phone, read, or even nap.
