Toss those razors and tweezers

Unlike shaving, which can give you nicks, cuts, ingrown hair, ugly stubble and infections, waxing leaves your skin smooth and luxurious. The more you wax, the finer and sparser your hair becomes, resulting in the need for fewer and fewer treatments. Our brow wax, leg wax and Brazilian bikini wax services help eliminate the chore of daily grooming.

Common questions:

How long do I have to let my hair grow?

You must let your hair grow in for at least 2 weeks if you have shaved in order to get a good wax.  The longer the hair is, the cleaner the waxing will turn out.  The “grow out” stage is often the most difficult step.

What is the normal skin reaction to waxing?

It’s normal for your skin to show redness after waxing.  If it is your very first time or it’s been awhile since your last waxing, you’ll probably experience some redness and sensitivity afterwards.  This usually subsides within a few hours, or for very sensitive skin within 24 hours.

How long does waxing last?

Waxing may last 2 to 3 weeks.  The more you do it, the longer it will last.

Will waxing make my hair grow back thicker, darker or heavier?

No, it will not.  Waxing removes the hair by the root, often weakening the root in the process.  Therefore, if anything, waxing may make the hair finer and sparser with time.
