How long does a Botox session take?

Each treatment usually takes between 15-30 minutes. Botox is typically injected into the muscles of the forehead, scalp, neck and shoulders. Patients can drive themselves to and from the appointment.

How long before I get pain relief?

It is possible to start feeling relief from Botox within a week or so, but for many people it will take several weeks or even months for the pain relief to reach full effect.

About 2½ to 3 months for most people. Botox injections typically are scheduled 3 months apart, the national standard recommended by the American Headache Society.
