COVID-19 Alert

BayCare Clinic Emergency Physicians reminds patients and their families that we continue to offer urgent care services during the COVID-19 pandemic. Don’t wait to be treated for your urgent health needs. We offer immediate care for conditions ranging from pink eye, earache and toothache to cough, throat pain, bug bites, small cuts and lacerations and more.

We also have convenient care options for treating you including in-person or walk-in clinic visits and scheduled visits. Call us at 920-327-7250 to determine the best way we can serve you.

Rest assured, however you choose to be seen, your safety is paramount. Our physicians and staff are well-equipped with personal protective equipment. You will be, too. Here are a few ways we’re ensuring you’ll have the safest possible visit:

  • You’ll be screened: Everyone – patients and staff – has their temperature taken before entering the building. Our staff is screened before and after each shift.
  • You’ll be protected: Upon entering the urgent care clinic, you’ll be provided a mask for protection.
  • You’ll be treated in a clean environment: Exam rooms are sanitized before and after each visit. That extensive cleaning extends throughout our urgent care clinics:
  • We follow social distancing guidelines: We’ll keep you 6 feet apart from other patients during the entirety of your visit.
  • We’ve limited the number of people in our waiting rooms: You can bring one person with you when seeking treatment in our urgent care clinics. It’s all part of our social distancing precautions. Safer for you, safer for us.
  • Scheduled visits are an option: Make an appointment to see an urgent care provider to ensure prompt care and lessen the likelihood of having to wait for treatment.

As always, visit our emergency department for emergency care or dial 9-1-1.

COVID-19 FAQs

We want you to know you’re safe when you visit our urgent care clinics. That’s our primary concern.

“We’ve learned a lot during the COVID-19 pandemic and have the medical experience to safely and effectively treat patients amid this global health crisis. We’ve brought that experience to the urgent care clinic. It’s a huge benefit to our patients and their families.”

– Dr. Cory Vogel, emergency medicine and urgent care physician, BayCare Clinic

We continue to monitor information from the federal Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, the World Health Organization and the Wisconsin Department of Health Services for up-to-the-minute guidance on best practices in dealing with the COVID-19 pandemic.

Excellence in Emergency Care

Our emergency physicians staff Aurora BayCare Medical Center, a certified Level II Trauma Center and the first U.S. hospital to be verified as an Emergency Center of Excellence.  Patients see an emergency physician in an average of 15 minutes of arrival, far lower than the national average of 46 minutes. We're setting the bar for emergency care in northeastern Wisconsin.

All patients are seen by board-certified or board-eligible physicians, supported by the technology and services of Aurora BayCare Medical Center.  They provide comprehensive care for everything from minor illnesses and accidents to major, life-threatening conditions. And if necessary, they have immediate access to highly accomplished trauma surgeons, neurosurgeons and cardiologists.
