Brandon M. Scharer is a doctor of podiatric medicine who specializes in foot and ankle surgery, including total ankle replacement. He was fellowship trained in foot and ankle surgery at the University of Washington’s Harborview Medical Center. He is board certified in foot surgery and reconstructive rear foot and ankle surgery by the American Board of Foot and Ankle Surgery. Dr. Scharer also does research on foot and ankle issues, publishing in professional journals and presenting at professional conferences.
“What sets me apart from the traditional podiatrist is that my training was more extensive, meaning that we’ve gone through more years of training and the emphasis of that training was more on ankle and rear foot surgery. I collaborate with the traditional podiatrist by offering something that they may not offer.”
