Our commitment to education

The BayCare Clinic Foundation supports many educational efforts and initiatives that meet our Foundation’s mission. This includes:

  • Contributions of $10,000 to the Northeast Wisconsin Technical College Educational Foundation each year. These funds are used to support the BayCare Clinic Faculty Professional Development Award and for nursing and allied health professional development projects at NWTC. The BayCare Clinic Faculty Professional Development Award is awarded annually to three NWTC faculty members. Each recipient receives up to $2,000 to attend a national conference specific to their health profession within the year ahead. The award is given to full-time, benefit-eligible NWTC faculty members in recognition of:
    • Excellence in instruction
    • Innovation in education
    • Commitment to student achievement
    • Advancement of curriculum
    • Devotion to the healthcare profession
  • Scholarships offered to area students pursuing higher education.
    • This includes our Healthcare Scholarship program, which annually distributes $16,000 to area students. Scholarships for this are now handled and distributed directly by the following higher education institutions: Bellin College of Nursing, Fox Valley Technical College, Lakeshore Technical College, Northeast Wisconsin Technical College and University of Wisconsin Green Bay.
    • Additional open scholarships, when available, will be listed and linked below.
