WIAA sports physicals are required – here’s why

In Wisconsin, student athletes must undergo a physical exam before participating in interscholastic sports or practice.


“These are done to ensure they are healthy and can safely participate,” says Dr. Jon Henry, orthopedic surgeon and sports medicine specialist with Orthopedics & Sports Medicine BayCare Clinic in Manitowoc.
