Dr. Chris Thompson and Dr. Aleem Bakhtiar, experienced, board-certified emergency physicians who have served hospitals elsewhere in Wisconsin, are joining BayCare Clinic Emergency Physicians.
Thompson earned his medical degree from the Medical College of Wisconsin in Milwaukee. He completed a residency in emergency medicine at University of North Carolina Hospitals in Chapel Hill, North Carolina.
He started practicing at Aurora BayCare Medical Center in Green Bay and Aurora Medical Center in Oshkosh on December 15.
Bakhtiar earned his medical degree at New York Medical College in Valhalla, New York. He completed a residency at Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai in New York City. He also completed fellowship training in emergency medicine at Texas A&M University in College Station, Texas.
He will begin practicing at Aurora Medical Center in Oshkosh on January 1, 2023.
Both physicians are board certified by American Board of Emergency Medicine.
