Stroman, who accepted the position in September, will help the facility maintain regulatory compliance and quality assurance. He’ll also help develop advanced programs in critical care and tactical and community emergency medical services, among others.
“I welcome the opportunity to pass on the knowledge I’ve gained through years of medical training and experience,”Stroman said. “It’s a chance to reinforce the importance of continued learning and shared expertise as well as staying informed on the latest techniques and technologies that enhance our ability to save lives during emergencies.”
The nearly 80-acre public safety training center provides hands-on tactical training for students and public safety professionals. It is used to train students in firefighting, investigation, technical rescue, pursuit, air disasters, and more.
