Stefaniak featured in Urology Times

Wed, Dec 20, 2017

Dr. Heather M. Stefaniak, a urological surgeon with Aurora BayCare Urological Surgeons, was featured in the November 2017 issue of Urology Times, a professional publication for urologists.

Stefaniak and two urologists from New Mexico and North Carolina were asked how they’d change the American Board of Urology’s procedures for maintenance of certification, or MOC. That’s how board-certified physicians are recertified.

Stefaniak’s suggested change: Extending the MOC review period to four years instead of two years. She is board certified by the American Board of Urology.

Stefaniak sees patients in Green Bay and Sturgeon Bay. She joined BayCare Clinic in 2010. She earned her medical degree from the Medical College of Wisconsin and served a residency in urology at University of North Carolina Hospitals in Chapel Hill, North Carolina.
