Natural food is the best fuel for helping the body run efficiently.
That’s why BayCare Clinic’s Dr. Lynn Wagner designed a four-week online course to help people use improved nutrition to heal their relationship with food. The program, called Food for Fuel℠, starts on Monday, September 18.
“Your body has to work harder to perform and may even break down or get sick if you eat food that is largely full of processed ingredients and preservatives,” said Wagner, an integrative lifestyle medicine physician with BayCare Clinic. “If we make the body’s job easier, it will make our life easier and our health better.”
The four-week course includes weekly content, grocery lists, videos and worksheets. It also includes access to Dr. Wagner’s Food for Fuel private Facebook group where she interacts daily with the members. Participants can expect to experience improved mood and sleep, clearer skin, increased energy, positive self-image, enhanced productivity and more.
“It’s about getting back to what food is meant to do and honoring your body by nourishing it,” Wagner said.
