MANITOWOC – Students in the Lakeshore region are encouraged to apply for scholarships, courtesy of the BayCare Clinic Foundation.
The scholarship opportunities include the Orthopedics & Sports Medicine BayCare Clinic Manitowoc Healthcare Scholarship. This fund provides students pursuing a career in healthcare a $1,000 scholarship toward tuition. It’s for students at the University of Wisconsin-Green Bay’s Manitowoc campus.
Prospective applicants are encouraged to visit the scholarship section of the BayCare Clinic website between January 6 and Sunday, April 5, to apply for one of these scholarships.
Another scholarship opportunity benefits college students. This one is from the foundation and Aurora BayCare Medical Center. Students in the emergency medical services program at Lakeshore Technical College can earn $500 grants for their work toward becoming emergency medical technicians or paramedics.
Applicants for this aid are encouraged to visit the scholarship section of the BayCare Clinic website between Monday, February 10, and Tuesday, March 10, for more information or to apply for a scholarship.
