KAUKAUNA – Dr. Matthew A. Schmidt, a fellowship-trained interventional cardiologist with Aurora BayCare Cardiology, is expanding his practice to Kaukauna.
He will begin seeing patients at the Aurora Health Center in Kaukauna, 2700 Crooks Ave., on Friday, September 13.
Schmidt specializes in treating coronary artery disease, peripheral vascular disease and structural heart disease.
He received his medical degree from the Medical College of Wisconsin in Milwaukee, where he also completed his residency in internal medicine. Schmidt completed fellowship training in cardiovascular disease, interventional cardiology and peripheral arterial disease at the Milwaukee Heart Institute at Aurora Health Care. He is board certified in interventional cardiology, cardiovascular disease and internal medicine by the American Board of Internal Medicine.
