Scharer brings foot, ankle expertise to Kaukauna

KAUKAUNA – Brandon M. Scharer, DPM, will soon see patients at the Aurora Health Center in Kaukauna.


As of Monday, June 1, Scharer, a foot and ankle surgeon, will join physician assistant Alyssa Schultz, PA-C, and treat patients in Kaukauna at 2700 Crooks Ave.


Dr. Scharer treats common and complex foot and ankle issues including arthritis, hammertoes, flat feet, torn ankle ligaments, heel spurs, and plantar fasciitis. He also offers foot and ankle reconstructive surgery and total ankle replacement surgery.


He received his podiatric degree from Des Moines University Osteopathic Medical Center, Des Moines, Iowa, and completed his residency in podiatric medicine and surgery at St. Joseph Podiatric Medicine & Surgery in Milwaukee. He is fellowship trained in treatment of the foot and ankle and is Board Certified in foot surgery and reconstructive rearfoot and ankle surgery by the American Board of Podiatric Surgery.


In addition to the Kaukauna location, Scharer also sees patients at Orthopedics & Sports Medicine BayCare Clinic locations in Green Bay and Marinette.
