As a local healthcare provider, BayCare Clinic has made a commitment to serve the greater Green Bay area. This commitment is illustrated by BayCare Clinic’s involvement in numerous local and regional events and organizations.
A snapshot of BayCare Clinic’s charitable giving includes donating free bicycles and snowsport helmets for area children, providing an epipen supply to local camps, developing and implementing training among emergency medical services experts to improve patient safety, gifting blankets to those in need, and numerous partnerships with local museums, schools, and philanthropic organizations.
BayCare Clinic is also actively involved with On Broadway, Inc. and Downtown Green Bay. The popular Wednesday and Saturday farmers’ markets in Green Bay are made possible through BayCare Clinic’s donations.
The BayCare Clinic Foundation was established in 2000, as a non-profit 501c3 organization to promote the health and well-being of Northeast Wisconsin residents. The foundation supports and financially sponsors a wide variety of community activities and organizations.
Annually, the BayCare Clinic Foundation Healthcare Scholarship Program is awarded to assist area scholars pursuing advanced education in the healthcare sector. In addition, the Foundation has pledged to contribute $50,000 to Northeast Wisconsin Technical College’s Educational Foundation. The funds are used for the BayCare Clinic Faculty of the Year annual award, as well as professional development projects. Through these efforts, it is the hope of the BayCare Clinic physicians that additional qualified healthcare employees will be available to provide needed service to the community.
