Mommy Makeover Online: Live seminar planned

Mon, Mar 6, 2017

Women seeking information on how to restore their bodies to pre-pregnancy shape are encouraged to sign up for a free online seminar by an expert from BayCare Clinic.

Dr. Elizabeth O’Connor, a plastic surgeon with Plastic Surgery & Skin Specialists by BayCare Clinic, will present “The Mommy Makeover” online seminar at 6 p.m. on Wednesday, April 5.

She will discuss the mommy makeover – a set of surgical procedures aimed at restoring or improving a woman’s post-pregnancy body – for a live audience.

The procedures traditionally associated with a mommy makeover include breast augmentation, liposuction and abdominoplasty (tummy tuck).

“The mommy makeover can be tailored to an individual woman’s needs,” O’Connor said. “There are no certain surgeries that are necessary as part of this. It’s simply a matter of identifying what you need and packaging a solution for you. It’s definitely an individualized care plan.”
