Eat healthy food, don’t give up anything, and control the portions. That’s the advice given to those looking to lose weight.
“Successful weight loss has two components — losing the weight to the goal you have set and maintaining and avoiding the rebound weight gain that frequently occurs,” says Dr. Francis Wolf, an adult cardiologist with Aurora BayCare Cardiology in Two Rivers and Valders.
The weight you want to lose did not appear overnight and it will not be lost overnight. Be patient with a loss of 1 or 2 pounds per week, Wolf says.
