Gillen joins the radiology team at BayCare Clinic

GREEN BAY – The healthcare team at BayCare Clinic recently added the expertise of interventional radiologist Ben Gillen, MD, to its roster.
Dr. Gillen joins the eight-member radiology team in providing services at Aurora BayCare Medical Center, 2845 Greenbrier Road, Green Bay.
Gillen earned his medical degree from the University at Buffalo School of Medicine and Biomedical Sciences in New York and completed his residency in radiology at Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minn. He was fellowship trained in interventional radiology at the Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center, Lebanon, N.H., and is board certified by the American Board of Radiology.
His special interests include dialysis fistula repair, vein ablation/sclerotherapy, peripheral arterial disease, interventional oncology, mediports, biopsies, vertebroplasty, joint injections, and uterine fibroid embolization.
BayCare Clinic radiologists provide radiology services at Aurora BayCare Medical Center for both diagnostic and minimally-invasive surgical applications. They interpret more than 78,000 images each year. Radiology services include but are not limited to:
- Computed tomography
- Magnetic Resonance Imaging
- Nuclear medicine
- X-ray, ultrasound and mammography
- Angiography
