Experience food’s healing power
Mon, Jul 31, 2017
The food you eat has a direct impact on your thoughts and moods. That’s why Dr. Lynn K. Wagner, an integrative lifestyle medicine physician with BayCare Clinic, is offering a night of demonstrations and teaching designed to heal your relationship with food.
Wagner will discuss the benefits of eating clean and simple from 6 to 8 p.m. on Wednesday, Aug. 30, at Starry Realty in De Pere. She will prepare samples of Latin-style foods such as plantains and shredded chicken for participants.
The night’s experience includes a Q & A session and information about Wagner’s Food for Fuel program. Complimentary drinks also will be available.
“Many people believe that weight loss is the only benefit of creating a healthy relationship with food,” Wagner says. “There are many other benefits you’ll begin to notice as you change your eating habits.” Such benefits include:
- Clearer skin and improved complexion
- Increased energy
- Improved sleep
- Better concentration, focus and mood
The cost to attend the event is $35 per person. Registration is required. Space is limited.
Participants can register online.
