BayCare Clinic’s Zemple elected to EMS advisory group

GREEN BAY – Dr. Bob Zemple, an emergency medicine physician with BayCare Clinic has been elected to the state EMS Physician Advisory Committee.
Zemple will be part of a group that makes recommendations to the Wisconsin Department of Health Services on medical issues related to emergency medical services.
As a committee member, Zemple will, among other duties:
- Assist with development of qualifications for medical directors at the local level
- Aid the development of medical protocols for use in Wisconsin
- Recommend scope of practice for each emergency medical technician level (scope of practice identifies steps for EMS licensure or certification in Wisconsin)
Zemple earned his medical degree at the University of Wisconsin School of Medicine and Public Health in Madison. He completed a residency in emergency medicine and a fellowship in emergency medical services at Carilion Clinic and Virginia Polytechnic University in Roanoke, Virginia.
He is board certified by the American Board of Emergency Medicine.
Zemple practices at Aurora BayCare Medical Center and Aurora BayCare Health Center in Green Bay, Aurora Medical Center in Manitowoc County in Two Rivers and Aurora Medical Center in Oshkosh.
