BayCare Clinic’s Awowale attains board certification

Dr. John Awowale, an orthopedic surgeon with Orthopedics & Sports Medicine BayCare Clinic, has earned board certification from the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery.


Awowale is certified in orthopedic surgery.


Board certification is granted to physicians who demonstrate their training, experience and knowledge in a rigorous peer evaluation process.


Awowale earned his medical degree from the University of Wisconsin School of Medicine and Public Health in Madison. He completed his internship and residency in orthopedic surgery at University of Wisconsin Hospital and Clinics in Madison. Awowale also completed fellowship training in sports medicine at the University of Virginia in Charlottesville.


He joined the Orthopedics & Sports Medicine BayCare Clinic staff in 2019.


Awowale sees patients in Green Bay, Sturgeon Bay and Marinette.
