The paper examined the use of fat grafts to restore thickness to the skin surrounding breast implants during two-stage breast reconstruction surgery.
O’Connor’s co-authors were Drs. Dennis C. Hammond and Johanna R. Scheer, both of Grand Rapids, Mich.
O’Connor is a board-certified plastic surgeon who sees patients in Green Bay and Oshkosh. She was fellowship trained in aesthetic and reconstructive breast surgery at Partners in Plastic Surgery in Grand Rapids.
