An unscientific poll has found that the COVID-19 vaccine appears to lessen infection symptoms among some long-haulers, people plagued with prolonged symptoms like fatigue and brain fog.

Dr. Laura Vogel-Schwartz, an emergency medicine physician with BayCare Clinic, weighed in on the matter during an interview with WBAY Channel 2 News.

“The theory is that some of these people still have some of the virus remnants in their body and then the vaccine mounts a strong immune response in your body and you clear it,” she says.
