Dr. Ryan Murphy, an emergency medicine physician with BayCare Clinic, was interviewed by WBAY Channel 2 News about a recent national poll that suggests 1 in 3 parents do not plan to vaccinate their child against the flu during the COVID-19 pandemic.
Murphy strongly encouraged vaccination against the flu, especially during the pandemic.
“It’s a little bit scary to read that so many people are thinking that they might forgo the immunization this year especially going into flu season with COVID-19,” Murphy said.
