Dr. Ryan Murphy, an emergency medicine physician with BayCare Clinic, was interviewed by WBAY Channel 2 News for a health feature about the challenges of teaching and learning amid the COVID-19 pandemic.
Murphy is among the doctors at Aurora BayCare Medical Center that help provide hands-on education to medical school students despite the ongoing pandemic.
“No matter how hard you try you can’t really replicate the real experience, and for future providers who are going to be going out in the community and taking care of people, it’s extremely important that they continue to have that patient contact,” he says.
