WHO: Dr. Lynn Wagner, an integrative lifestyle medicine physician with BayCare Clinic, was interviewed for a WGBA NBC 26 News story on the impact of screen time on child development.


WHAT: A study is examining the impact of screen time on kids. Preliminary findings say the impact can be detrimental, with significant differences in the brains of children who engage in screen media activity more for more than seven hours a day. Such studies underscore the need for children to engage in activities other than screen time, Wagner says.
