BayCare Clinic in the News: Narcan valuable in treating opioid overdoses

WHO: Dr. Laura Vogel-Schwartz, an emergency medicine physician with BayCare Clinic, was interviewed for a WBAY Channel 2 news story about the importance of using the drug Narcan to treat an opioid overdose.


WHAT: Over a period of 10 days, four people were saved from opioid overdoses by using the drug Narcan or naxolone, the Fond du Lac Fire Department says. Vogel-Schwartz emphasized the importance of having Narcan available in such instances.
