Honor flight for father-daughter veterans
Lara Feldhausen, a practice manager for BayCare Clinic, and her father, Robert Massart, will travel together this week on a flight honoring military veterans.
They spoke with WBAY Channel 2 News for a news feature on their special trip. Both are U.S. Navy veterans.
“I think, being with this group of veterans on this special week, being Veterans Day week, that sort of thing and understanding some of what they, the history there, just making sure they feel special and appreciated it’s going to be a great day,” Feldhausen says.
Feldhausen and Massart will head to Washington, D.C., as part of the November 9 Old Glory Honor Flight departing from Appleton International Airport.
