BayCare Clinic in the News: Avoid overtraining for delayed spring sports

Thu, Apr 26, 2018

WHO: Dr. Harold Schock, an orthopedic surgeon with BayCare Clinic, was interviewed for a TV news story about how to avoid overtraining for delayed spring sports.

WHAT: This month’s historic snowstorm delayed most spring sports and forced seasons to be condensed. Schools are cramming nearly a season’s worth of games into little more than a month of playing time. This brings the potential for injuries.

WHERE: The story aired on WBAY Channel 2 News.

WHEN: It aired Wednesday during the 10 p.m. broadcast. It is available online. Watch the video.
