BayCare Clinic in the News: AED donations

Thu, Jan 25, 2018

BayCare Clinic is among three health organizations that has donated eight automated defibrillators to the city of Manitowoc.

AEDs are used to shock a person’s heart back into normal rhythm during sudden cardiac arrest.

The donations, made Wednesday by BayCare Clinic, Aurora BayCare Medical Center and Aurora Medical Center in Manitowoc County, come following the findings of a city task force which determined Manitowoc was underserved in terms of AED coverage.
