BayCare Clinic Century riders help raise $1,300
Tue, Mar 7, 2017
GREEN BAY – BayCare Clinic partners and employees have answered the challenge! They raised $1,300 for the BayCare Clinic Foundation by registering for the first BayCare Clinic Century Bayshore to Lakeshore bicycle tour.
For each partner or employee who registered for the June 3 event at least three months in advance, $40 was donated to the foundation.
- BayCare Clinic CEO Chris Augustian, holding the check in the photo above, donated the first $10 for each registration.
- A physician partner who wishes to remain anonymous matched that, bringing it to $20 per rider.
- BayCare Clinic Anesthesia matched those donations, bringing the total to $40 per rider.
The BayCare Clinic Century Bayshore to Lakeshore ride offers scenic 20-, 60-, or 100-mile courses through Brown, Kewaunee and Door counties.
Registration remains open at baycarecentury.com. Entry fees are $50 until June 2 and $60 on ride day. Registered riders will receive a short-sleeved tech shirt. Children 12 and under are free when accompanied by a registered rider.
Many volunteer opportunities are available. To volunteer, please contact Brooke Puta at 920-490-9046, ext. 1312, or email BPuta@baycare.net.
