Aurora BayCare offers Stroke and Neurovascular Symposium 2022

Physicians, advanced practice providers and registered nurses are invited to the Aurora BayCare Stroke and Neurovascular Symposium 2022 on Friday, October 28.


This free continuing medical education event offers updates for those who provide care for patients diagnosed with stroke or other neurovascular conditions – neurologists, emergency physicians, critical care physicians, hospitalists, advanced practice clinicians and registered nurses.


The speakers are:

  • Kerry Ahrens, MD, an emergency physician with BayCare Clinic Emergency Physicians. She also is co-chair of the Wisconsin Stroke Coalition and stroke medical director at Aurora Medical Center in Oshkosh.
  • Ziad Darkhabani, MD, an interventional neurologist with Aurora BayCare Stroke and Neurovascular in Green Bay.
  • J. Jenkins, PA-C, a critical care intensivist with Advocate Aurora Health in Green Bay.
  • Heather Stanko, MD, a neurologist with Bellin Health in Green Bay.
  • Tom Wolfe, MD, a neurologist and endovascular neurologist with Advocate Aurora Health in Milwaukee.

The symposium will take place in the Performance Enhancement Room at the Aurora BayCare Orthopedic & Sports Medicine Center, 1160 Kepler Drive, Green Bay, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.


This symposium has been approved for a total of 5.00 AMA PRA Category 1 credits. Physicians should claim only the credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the event. Advocate Aurora Health is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME) to provide continuing medical education for physicians.
