Dr. Peter Johnson of Aurora BayCare is interviewed by WBAY Channel 2 News for Ovarian Cancer Awareness Month

Dr. Peter Johnson, a gynecologic oncologist with Aurora BayCare Medical Center, was interviewed for a health feature story about ovarian cancer. His patient, Kelli Gobin, was interviewed as well.

September is Ovarian Cancer Awareness Month.

“I started gaining a lot of weight, and my ankles were swelling, and my hands were swelling. I just knew that something wasn’t quite right,” Gobin says.

“If you have symptoms, please go in and get checked out. Don’t wait. Don’t delay it. If we find it early makes all the difference in the world,” Johnson says.

The story aired on WBAY Channel 2 News. It is available here.
