GREEN BAY – Chris Augustian, chief executive officer of BayCare Clinic, recently was named chairman of the board of managers at Aurora BayCare Medical Center.
Augustian, recognized in 2009 as one of the Green Bay Area Chamber of Commerce’s “40 People Under 40 You Should Know,” has been a member on Aurora BayCare’s board for four years. He succeeds Dr. Paul Summerside, who has since retired.
In 2004, Augustian left Marshfield Clinic to become controller at BayCare Clinic. Two years later, he was named chief financial officer. In 2012, he was promoted to CEO.
As chairman at Aurora BayCare, Augustian will work with the hospital’s board of managers on issues surrounding policy formation, decision making and hospital oversight.
Outside of the office, he serves on the boards of the New Community Shelter and the holdings corporation of the Wisconsin Medical Society. Augustian also has served on the advisory board for the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society.
Augustian, a Green Bay native, received his bachelor’s degree in managerial accounting from the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point. He is a certified public accountant.
