Regular physical activity is good for our health. In fact, adults should be physically active for at least 150 minutes each week, the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services says.

 

It can be easy to hit that goal.

 

“There’s often a workout just waiting to happen in your daily routine. For example, consider taking the stairs instead of the elevator, take a walk on your lunch break or park farther away from your office or house to get in a quick walk,” says Dr. Jon Henry, an orthopedic surgeon with BayCare Clinic. He sees patients in Manitowoc and Green Bay.

Exercise is good for your body but it also can be fun. Get into a routine during May and keep it up year-round, says Henry.
