Ask a Doctor: Migraines are more than a headache
Fri, Nov 10, 2017
Migraines are much more worse headaches.
“Migraines are recurring attacks of moderate to debilitating pain, usually occurring on one side of the head. The pain can last from two to 72 hours,” says Dr. Laura Vogel-Schwartz, an emergency medicine physician with BayCare Clinic. She sees patients in Two Rivers, Green Bay, and Oshkosh.
Medical treatments and medications can help patients manage their migraines. Alternative medicine methods are also available, Vogel-Schwartz says.
