How much time do you spend shaving, waxing or tweezing? Our providers offer laser hair reduction for all areas of the body using the Lumenis LightSheer ET laser.
Laser hair reduction targets the entire hair structure, from follicle to end, in rapid noninvasive procedures to achieve desired results. A laser heats and, ultimately, damages the hair follicle to inhibit additional growth.
Treatments are customized for each area and each person. They can be adjusted for accuracy, safety, comfort and speed.
Areas of treatment include but are not limited to:
After your first laser treatment, you will experience smooth skin for several days. Following a complete series of treatments, you can expect to achieve permanent reduction of approximately 90 percent of hair. However, periodic maintenance appointments may be required for some areas.
No. The laser produces a slight amount of heat and a sensation sometimes compared to a pin prick or a snap. While some treated areas are more sensitive than others, most people tolerate the sensation without numbing agents.
Hair reduction treatments can take 15 to 60 minutes, depending on the area being treated.
Anyone. Hair reduction treatments can be done on men and women of all hair and skin types.
The number of hair reduction treatment sessions varies depending on the area being treated. For best results, you might need four to six treatments spaced over a few weeks.
