Anterior Total Hip Replacement

Anterior Total Hip Replacement

Hip replacement needn’t be a struggle. Especially when you can have it done right here in Manitowoc.

Dr. Craig L. Olson offers anterior total hip replacement, which results in less pain and faster recovery.

How is that possible? Dr. Olson accesses the hip joint from the front, making a small incision. That spares the gluteal muscles. In traditional hip replacement surgery, those muscles are cut when the surgeon goes in from the back of the hip joint.

If you have anterior total hip replacement surgery with Dr. Olson, you likely can go home the next day, or in some cases the same day. You also can resume daily activities without many restrictions. There’s also a short period of physical rehabilitation that follows the surgery.

There’s no need to travel to get this kind of expert hip care. It’s right here in Manitowoc.

You can trust Dr. Olson, who is a fellowship-trained orthopedic surgeon.
