Aurora BayCare Medical Center in Green Bay is the first certified Comprehensive Stroke Center in northeastern Wisconsin and Upper Michigan. That certification recognizes the most advanced stroke treatment available and the stroke center’s ability to provide the highest level of care for stroke patients. The Telestroke Program extends the stroke center’s reach. Patients can consult with an acute stroke specialist via face-to-face video chat and can receive treatment recommendations sooner.

What our brain tumor program offers
- A neurosurgery consultation within 48 hours for any suspected intracranial mass, which can include:
- Glioma or glioblastoma multiforme (GBM)
- Metastatic lesion
- Atypical lesion
- Benign tumor with mass effect
- A neurosurgery consultation within 48 hours for any other urgent concern.
- A neurosurgical resection (removing all or part of a tumor) or biopsy within seven days as appropriate.
