Glasses & Contacts

The Eye Specialists at BayCare Clinic offer one-stop optical services, from expert eye exams to convenient glasses and contacts through our in-house laboratory. Whether you have worn glasses for a lifetime, or are making your first eyewear purchase, our Eye Specialists are the right choice for service, selection, and quality.

Optical Services

We offer a large selection of eyeglasses and designer frames, including children's frames. Our fashion optical brands include Dior, Kate Spade, Maui Jim, Vera Wang, and many others. We can also assist you with specialized products like prescription work safety glasses, swim goggles, and recreational frames.

When it comes to eyeglasses, you need the right prescription AND the right fit. We have particular experience in fitting specialty prescriptions such as progressive lenses (no-line multifocal) and very strong prescriptions.

Contact Lenses

We offer the latest contact lens technology, including bifocal contacts and contact lenses for correcting astigmatism. We fit all major brands including Acuvue, Alcon, Bausch & Lomb, and CooperVision. Once you know your fit, you can order contacts online.

Content lens options include:

  • Daily wear soft contact lenses
  • Frequent replacement contact lenses
  • Disposable contact lenses
  • Contact lenses for astigmatism
  • Tinted contact lenses
  • Gas permeable contact lenses
  • Paragon CRT
  • Monovision, near and distance bifocal contact lenses
  • Multifocal contacts

While contact lenses are most commonly worn for vision correction, we can assist you with cosmetic lenses too. No matter what kind of contacts you wear, it's important to remember they are medical devices and come with some risk of infection. Be sure to follow all instructions, including the recommended wear and replacement schedule.

Therapeutic Contact Lenses

We can design and prescribe therapeutic contact lenses used to treat and manage certain eye diseases such as keratoconus, corneal transplants, and ocular injury.
