Ear Specialists

Healthy ear function involves more than good hearing.  It also contributes to our sense of balance. Common conditions an ear specialist may treat include ear infections, ear wax buildup, fluid in the ear, swimmers ear, foreign objects in the ear, cholesteatoma, conductive hearing loss and chronic ear disease.

Nose Specialists

When we breathe, the nose acts as a filter. But sometimes, immune systems overreact, causing nasal problems. Common conditions a nose specialist may treat include sinusitis, sinus allergies and deviated septum.

Throat Specialists

Throat health may involve asthma or allergies, tonsil and adenoid problems, sore throats, hoarseness, voice disorders, thyroid nodules, goiters, cancer, swallowing problems, and snoring.

Head and Neck Health

Head and neck health involves the digestive and respiratory tracts.  Diseases of the head and neck range from simple skin cysts to large tumors of the neck, face, salivary gland stones and infections. Tumors in this area can interfere with eating, swallowing, and breathing, and may be cancerous.

When detected early, head and neck cancer is often curable. What's more, it can often be prevented through some basic lifestyle changes. Risk factors that contribute to head and neck cancer include smoking, excessive alcohol consumption, poor oral hygiene, ill-fitting dentures, and nasal infections.
