About Steve A. Zent, DDS, MD
Dr. Steve A. Zent grew up in North Dakota, then went to dental school in Marquette University in Milwaukee. He liked Wisconsin so much that he “was excited to move here permanently” after his oral surgery residency at the University of Kentucky.
Dr. Zent is unique among our oral surgeons as the only one with a dental degree and a medical degree, having earned the latter at the University of Kentucky. “I always enjoyed biology and chemistry, and then medicine and dentistry were a natural extension,” he says.
Another thing Dr. Zent enjoys is people.
“I love meeting so many different people through my work,” he says. “I enjoy working with patients in regard to helping them meet their goals and needs.
In his free time, Dr. Zent enjoys martial arts, reading, traveling, swimming and spending time at the lake with his family.
