About Jason George DeVries, DPM

Jason George DeVries, DPM, is a podiatric surgeon with Orthopedics & Sports Medicine BayCare Clinic.

He is fellowship trained in foot and ankle reconstructive surgery. He is board certified in foot, ankle and rearfoot surgery by the American Board of Foot and Ankle Surgery.

DeVries specializes in total ankle replacement but performs a wide range of foot and ankle procedures.

Here’s what some of DeVries’ patients have said about their experiences with him:

Joe, who had his right ankle replaced, says DeVries “did a fantastic job … my experience was great.”

Matt, who also had his right ankle replaced, says choosing to have the procedure done by DeVries “was a good decision to make. The pain’s gone. I have my mobility back.”

Elisse, who had an ankle fusion procedure, says DeVries “gave me references to his published literature and gave me a history of his training … he was very warm and compassionate.” It was, she adds, “one of the best doctor relationships” she’s had.

Terry, who had a minimally invasive procedure to repair bunions, says DeVries was “confident that this was the best option and … it worked.”

DeVries also is nationally regarded as a thought leader and researcher in the field of foot and ankle reconstructive surgery. He has presented his research findings in national journals and at regional and national conferences, where he also has led discussion panels.
