About Elizabeth A. O'Connor, MD

Dr. O’Connor is a plastic surgeon with Plastic Surgery & Skin Specialists by BayCare Clinic. She received her medical education at Wayne State University School of Medicine in Detroit. She went on to complete her residency at the Medical College of Wisconsin in Milwaukee, followed by a prestigious Aesthetic and Reconstructive Breast Surgery fellowship at Partners in Plastic Surgery in Grand Rapids, Michigan.

She is board certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery and is also a member of the American Society of Plastic Surgeons, The Aesthetic Society, and the Wisconsin Medical Society.

Dr. O’Connor knew she wanted to go into medicine at an early age. As a child, she enjoyed working with her hands with various projects in the yard and around the house. She also enjoyed woodworking and seeing immediate changes in what she was doing. This, combined with her interest in science and anatomy, made surgery a perfect choice, she says.

As a plastic surgeon, Dr. O’Connor sees patients of all ages– from infants to the elderly. More specifically, Dr. O’Connor has a special interest in breast reconstruction.

She chose to pursue breast surgery as her specialty because she enjoys working with breast cancer patients. Dr. O’Connor finds it rewarding to help restore what was taken from these patients after breast cancer treatments. She finds it rewarding to help these women regain their confidence and femininity through surgery.

Dr. O’Connor grew up in a small town in central Wisconsin but loves the small-town atmosphere of Green Bay. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her family, watching her children play sports, exercising, biking, hiking and walking her dog.
