Dr. Ahmet Dervish was born and raised on the Mediterranean island of Cyprus, leaving when he was 18, but northeastern Wisconsin has been home for even longer.
“I love the people of northeastern Wisconsin, their ethic of hard work, the open spaces and the slower pace of life,” says Dervish, who joined BayCare Clinic in 2001.
“I provide care to patients and their families that is meaningful to the individual patient. I treat all individuals with dignity and respect and involve patients in decision making,” he says.
To accomplish that, Dervish is studying Spanish in the hopes of better understanding some of his patients and their culture.
An avid gardener, Dervish also enjoys learning about Wisconsin’s farms and farm life.
