You’ll love Northeast Wisconsin
Green Bay, Wis., offers a slice of mid-America with a dash of big city flavor. It’s got something for everyone, even the most discerning individuals.
The city and its surrounding communities are full of friendly and outgoing people, ready to make newcomers feel like old neighbors. You’ll experience this first-hand at any of the area’s annual festivals, parades or at Lambeau Field on game day, even if you’re an opposing fan.
The area serves up an almost unlimited number of exciting and engaging activities providing affordable entertainment and educational options for families, couples and everyone in between. And Green Bay has the benefit of offering activities suited for each of the four seasons: gardening and planting in the spring; water fun, competitive running events and local concerts in the summer; pumpkin picking and hayrides in the fall; and snowmobiling, snowboarding and skiing in the winter.
And yes, there are Green Bay Packers games and open-viewing practice sessions and player sightings all year long.
Aside from that, the area boasts several high-performing school districts and institutes of higher education.
Kindergarten through 12th grade education:
Institutes of higher education:
The county (Brown County) is home to eight school districts and more than 30 private schools. According to the 2014 Greater Green Bay Fact Book, “These local school districts are dedicated to high-quality education, and it shows – average ACT scores outrank the state’s average which is consistently ranked first, second or third in the nation among states testing more than 50 percent of high school seniors. County average is 23.4; state average is 22.1. Wisconsin’s high school seniors ranked second in the nation on the ACT college entrance exam of states testing more than 70 percent of high school seniors.”
The Green Bay area is a tight-knit community. We work well together, we play well together, and we even pray well together.

The schools were an improvement from Kansas City. I’m impressed with the quality of education from the public schools. We were lucky to come here. Our kids are able to do things without me worrying about them.
