  1. Why are glasses so expensive?

We offer glasses to fit all different budgets. Prices vary depending on the brand, materials used to produce the glasses, and the lenses and protection you’re seeking.

  1. Why is a glasses prescription only good for one year?

Like any prescription, they expire. You need to have regular eye exams because your vision and the health of your eyes can change.

  1. Do I need to leave my glasses with you if I just want new lenses?

While it’s always best to send the frame to the lab to ensure a perfect fit, we have a frame tracer. Frame tracing enables you to keep wearing your frames while allowing the lab to process the new lenses.

  1. Why is my pupillary distance (PD) not on my eyeglass prescription?

The PD is not part of your prescription. It is a measurement taken by an optician when you order your glasses. If you are not ordering glasses from us, there’s a fee for that service.

  1. How do the progressive lenses you sell differ from other progressive lenses on the market?

We sell only the latest technology in progressive lenses, including the new Varilux W3 lens. Varilux Physio W3+ lenses provide smoother transition from distance to near and sharper vision in low light. Their exclusive Binocular Booster uses the prescription from both of your eyes to calculate the lenses as a pair so your eyes work together better, maximizing vision.
