The BayCare Clinic Century Bayshore to Lakeshore is back!
Tuesday, January 2, 2018
Let’s do this again! The BayCare Clinic Century Bayshore to Lakeshore bicycle tour returns on Saturday, June 2, 2018.
Summer seems closer now that registration is open for our signature event. More than 300 cyclists joined us last year for the first BayCare Clinic Century Bayshore to Lakeshore ride.
Riders of all ages and fitness levels will have more choices this year, with 100-, 60-, 30- and 15-mile courses through scenic Brown, Kewaunee and Door counties. Century riders, those going 100 miles, will travel from Green Bay to Lake Michigan and back. Along the way, all riders will enjoy rest stops where they can refuel with delicious snacks and beverages.
The BayCare Clinic Century Bayshore to Lakeshore again starts and finishes at BayCare Clinic headquarters at 1035 Kepler Drive on Green Bay’s east side
Entry fees begin at $40 for the 100-, 60- and 30-mile rides. Register early! Fees for those rides increase to $50 on March 1, $60 on May 1 and $70 on June 1. The 15-mile ride is $30. Riders age 17 and under are free with a paid adult, limited to two free riders per paid adult. Registered riders will receive a commemorative item.
Many volunteer opportunities will be available as the event draws near in May and June, and on the day of the event. To volunteer, please contact Brooke Puta at 920-490-9046, extension 1312, or email BPuta@baycare.net.
The BayCare Clinic Century Bayshore to Lakeshore is part of our BayCare Clinic Bikes wellness initiative. BayCare Clinic Bikes promotes cycling as a healthy, family-friendly activity. Efforts are aimed toward increasing bicycling and advocating for cycling safety throughout northeastern Wisconsin.
