Cosmetic tattoos restore confidence for patients
“Everyone handles their trauma and their journey a little differently,” says Caitlin Romenesko, medical aesthetician & tattooist at Plastic Surgery & Skin Specialists by BayCare Clinic.
In addition to more traditional aesthetic services, Romenesko provides cosmetic tattooing that ranges from microblading, to scar camouflage to 3D tattoos that restore nipples and areolas for breast reconstruction patients.
For many, according to Romenesko, the services she provides are often the end of their journey. “It’s a chapter closed,” she adds. “It is rewarding to see that they are happy.”

Reasons to consider cosmetic tattooing
Everyone has their own reasons for considering cosmetic tattooing, says Romenesko.
With a range of services that includes tattooed eyebrows, scar camouflage and tattoos that help with breast reconstruction procedures, those reasons will vary as well.
“All we want is for everyone to feel happy and comfortable in their own skin,” says Romenesko.
