How do you test a young child’s hearing?
Wednesday, May 21, 2014
Parents often wonder how we test a child’s hearing when they are only a few years old. If a parent suspects their child has problems with hearing, it’s important to find an audiologist who is experienced with treating children. To test the hearing, the audiologist must have the specialized equipment and techniques to assess the child.
Dr. Andrea Federman demonstrates how the Hearing Center BayCare Clinic tests a child’s hearing in this video.
