Parents often wonder how we test a child’s hearing when they are only a few years old. If a parent suspects their child has problems with hearing, it’s important to find an audiologist who is experienced with treating children. To test the hearing, the audiologist must have the specialized equipment and techniques to assess the child.
Andrea Federman, AuD, received her Doctor of Audiology degree from the Pennsylvania College of Optometry and Audiology in Elkins Park, Pennsylvania. Dr. Federman’s areas of special interest include audiologic testing in children and adults, hearing loss assistance, and vestibular evaluation: ENG.
